Tranarö Ingarö

Welcome to a small piece of Sweden, my little summer house on Tranarö/Ingarö, approximately 35km from the centre of Stockholm. The house sits on a piece of land that is 2,168 square meters, only about a 150 meter walk to the sea, though the woods. There is a small beach about a 10 minute walk away and also a dock where the boat has a berth. If you fancy a game of tennis, there is a tennis court no more than a 5 minute walk from the house. Approximately 3km from the house is a 36 hole golf course belonging to Ingarö Golf Club.

This log house was built in 1969 in true Swedish style. The 59 square meters are split into two small bed rooms, a good size living room , a toilet, a separate shower room, and of course a kitchen. The whole house was renovated in 2019, when a new kitchen was put in, floor heating in the entrance hall, kitchen and the smaller bedroom.  The true charm really gets elevated when you light a fire in the fireplace in the winter, which provides a nice cosy feeling and a gentle heat.

On the property, there are two guest houses and a third  house with a guest room and a storage room. I think it is fair to say that 10 people can sleep there comfortably. Oh, I think I should mention that in the summer, there is a charming outdoor shower between the main house and the guest houses.

In the summer, most of the time is spent on the 120 square meter wooden deck, where many fun BBQ have taken place throughout the years. There is a perfect lawn for the future grandkids to run around on and keep Grandpa in shape.

The place is small but it has a lot of charm and it is the perfect place to relax and recharge.
